Job description

Staff Accountant

Annexus is a well-established, highly profitable, fast-paced company in North Scottsdale. We have a unique opportunity for a strong accountant to join our collaborative, high performing accounting department.

Note this position is on-site in our beautiful North Scottsdale office. We are on the TPC Champion's course in a very well-managed Class A building, complete with free underground parking, and a brand-new clubhouse with a gym and showers. Our office includes a fully stocked kitchen/breakroom and an informal/fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, track, and enter all vendor bills into accounts payable system
  • Review and approve all expense reports in T&E software
  • Prepare and report out on vendor and marketing spend
  • Allocate overhead expenses across various business units
  • Re-allocate certain systematic transactions such as payroll & benefits
  • Reconcile various GL accounts
  • Prepare entries to accrue certain vendor & event related expense
  • Record depreciation and amortization
  • Prepare weekly ACH batches for payment

Qualifications

  • Obtained or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
  • Future candidate for CPA exam
  • Proficiency with all areas of Microsoft Office suite (especially Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent project/time management, verbal, and written communication
  • Experience with Net Suite, Concur, Coupa, Blackline is a plus
