The VP - Director of Advisory Services, is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the Advisor Team at TriCity National Bank. The Director is accountable for the performance of the advisory management function, including revenue growth, client acquisition, advisor development, cross-selling other bank products and the quality of client recommendations. The VP - Director of Advisory Services reports to the EVP & CFO. The position will have three direct reports.
This position is located in site at our Corporate Headquarters located in Oak Creek, WI.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Advisor Team Development
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Advisor Team.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop advisors.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and development plans for Team Members.
  • Build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Work closely with 3rd parties on more sophisticated advisory needs

Advisor Team Management
  • Ensure advisors have the tools, technology, training, and resources necessary to perform their roles.
  • Monitor advisor capacity, productivity, and performance.
  • Establish and maintain consistent processes and expectations across the Advisor Team.

Revenue and Client Acquisition
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across the Advisor Team.
  • Establish and monitor individual and team revenue goals.
  • Manage pipeline activity, client commitments, and revenue forecasts.
  • Coach advisors on prospecting, client acquisition, and converting opportunities.

Client Recommendations and Experience
  • Oversee the quality and consistency of advisor recommendations and review client recommendations as needed.
  • Help develop and ensure advisors consistently follow Tri City's planning philosophy and client service standards.
  • Coach advisors on developing and communicating clear and comprehensive recommendations.
  • Foster a team atmosphere with other departments in the bank, encouraging cross sales of other bank products.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing wealth advisors or financial professionals with 5+ years of industry experience.
• CFP® or similar advanced industry designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of wealth management, financial planning, and investment management strategies.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and client acquisition.
• Experience recruiting, training, and managing high-performing professionals.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and accountability skills.
• Ability to evaluate and provide oversight of client recommendations.
• Holds and maintains appropriate industry licenses, registrations, and professional credentials required for the position with a clean disclosure history.
• Located or willing to relocate to Milwaukee (position is in Oak Creek, Wisconsin)
