Location: Outpatient Clinic - Cary, NC
Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

We provide Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Office / Patient Services Specialist to join our team in Cary, NC. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service and supporting our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and returning patients
  • Collaborate with the billing department for insurance verification, authorizations, and billing coordination
  • Work with the home care scheduler to manage appointments
  • Educate patients and families on insurance coverage and the scheduling process
  • Collect copays and discuss financial arrangements with patients/families
  • Support therapists with patient-related tasks as needed
  • Oversee daily front office operations and administrative duties

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative support and medical office scheduling
  • Ability to work until 6 PM Monday-Thursday and 8 AM-5 PM on Fridays
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, WebPT)
  • Proficient computer skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Knowledge of insurance systems (Medicare, Medicaid, Workers' Compensation)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
