Job description

University Dental Group is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As a Dental Insurance Coordinator in our practice, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of dental insurance verification and insurance benefits prior to patient appointments. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and service to our patients, helping to create healthier smiles every day.
This role requires prior dental insurance experience. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered for the position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
This is an onsite full-time position working from University Dental Group in Worcester, MA.
Responsibilities
  • Verifying Dental Insurance Eligibility and Benefits prior to patient appointment
  • Assisting patients with understanding their benefits
  • Accurately update patient insurance information in dental software system
  • Collaborate with front office team and clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate treatment plans
  • Strong Knowledge of dental terminology and CDT codes
  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service
  • Greeting all patients with a warm and friendly smile
  • Checking patients in and out for appointments
  • Scheduling appointments for patients
  • Answering phones with enthusiasm
  • Assisting with patient billing processing and questions
  • Assisting the clinic with seating patients and coordinating patient flow
  • Always keeping reception area clean and orderly
  • Participating company marketing events and responsibilities
  • Handling other duties as assigned by the manager
