We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Medical Associate to join our team to service our patients in the [LOCATION] area. As a Delivery Medical Associate (Driver) at Your Health, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patients' residences. Your primary goal is to ensure the timely delivery of medical supplies while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Delivery Medical Associates perform visits in homes and facilities (ALF and ILF's) in their designated service area. You must have reliable transportation as travel is required daily. This is a full time, salary-based position. (8:00AM-5:00PM) (Monday-Friday)

What Are We Looking For?
Your Health is currently looking for a Delivery Medical Associate to join our growing primary care family. A successful Delivery Associate (Driver) will be able to perform these essential duties and

The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
  • Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
  • Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient's residences.
  • Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
  • Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
  • Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
