Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Fort Wayne, Indiana Quick Highlights

  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Setting: Primarily Inpatient Psychiatry with some Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) coverage
  • Patient Volume: 14-16 patients per day
Availability
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Rotating after-hours call (initially required, then voluntary with additional stipend)
  • Rotating weekend coverage
Requirements
  • Active Indiana Nurse Practitioner License
  • Active DEA
  • In state candidates only
Required Certifications & Qualifications
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience required
  • Ability to practice independently
Practice Details
  • Primary responsibility is psychiatric inpatient admissions and treatment
  • Some coverage for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
