Job description

Licensed Insurance Service Agent

Location: Waterford, Ontario |Department: Sales | Contract type:Permanent, Full-Time

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Licensed Insurance Service Agent provides efficient and professional customer service to an assigned Personal Lines book of business. This salaried role is relationship driven with a focus on strong retention results. New business opportunities are created through cross sell and referrals.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Responds to customer enquiries for policy changes, offering coverage explanations and recommendations
2. Manage an expiry list to ensure all renewals are issued, and complete reviews including generating ITVs
3. Follow team workflows and processes
4. First point of contact for Claim reporting
5. Generate proofs of insurance including Liability Slips and Binders
6. Follow documentation standards for all client-related conversations
7. Champion a culture of kindness, diversity, and respect by living the CTM Values

8. Perform other related duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years front-line insurance experience
  • OTL License (Agent License) or Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario License (RIBO) to be changed to OTL
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Customer service experience with a passion to provide prompt and professional service
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A detail-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic would be an asset
  • College Diploma in a business subject would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
