Title: Cyber Security Analyst – Enterprise Systems (IT) 

Fully Remote for candidates in EST/CST time zone | Location/Supporting: Longwood, FL | Experience: 2+ years of Cyber Security experience

About the Role: The Cyber Security Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding IOA's systems, networks, and data through the administration of security technologies, monitoring of cyber threats, and implementation of security best practices. This position requires strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across IT and business teams to maintain a secure and compliant environment. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Security Platform Administration: Administer, maintain, and optimize security platforms and technologies to ensure reliable performance and effective protection of organizational assets. 

  • Threat Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts using SIEM and related tools to identify, investigate, and respond to potential threats and anomalous activity. 

  • Incident Response: Investigate, contain, remediate, and document security incidents, coordinating escalation with internal teams and external partners when required. 

  • Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability scanning and security assessments across systems and networks, prioritizing findings and coordinating remediation efforts. 

  • Security Tool Management: Manage and support cybersecurity technologies, including endpoint protection, firewalls, patch management solutions, and cloud security platforms. 

  • Access & Identity Security: Oversee user access provisioning and de-provisioning processes, ensuring appropriate authorization, authentication, and access control practices. 

  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, controls, and data protection measures to support organizational security objectives. 

  • Compliance & Governance: Review, maintain, and update security policies, procedures, and controls to align with regulatory, industry, and organizational requirements. 

  • Risk Assessment: Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure. 

  • Security Awareness: Coordinate, track, and support security awareness initiatives and training programs to promote a strong security culture throughout the organization. 

  • Documentation & Audit Support: Maintain accurate security documentation, incident records, system configurations, and audit evidence to support internal and external reviews. 

  • Security Collaboration: Partner with the Information Security Manager, Enterprise Systems team, and other stakeholders to support security initiatives, projects, and operational improvements. 

  • Research & Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies, recommending enhancements to strengthen IOA's overall security posture. 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience working in a primarily security-based role. 

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, antivirus, patch management, and vulnerability scanning tools.  

  • Familiarity with log analysis and SIEM platforms are preferred.  

  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP preferred.  

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.  

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.  

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.  

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, CrowdStrike and Wiz preferred.
