WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As Claims Manager, you will oversee Jensen Infrastructure's Workers' Compensation, Property, and General Liability claims from initial incident through resolution. You will partner with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, legal counsel, HR, EHS, Operations, and plant leadership to control claim costs, support employees through the process, and reduce future risk across our multi-state manufacturing footprint.
A HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR DAY TO DAY WILL INCLUDE:
  • Manage Workers' Compensation, property damage, and General Liability claims from investigation through treatment, resolution, and closure.
  • Work directly with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, adjusters, brokers, and legal counsel to drive timely and favorable claim outcomes.
  • Review claim files, reserves, documentation, and claim strategies to keep claims moving and costs controlled.
  • Partner with plant leaders, Human Resources, EHS, and Operations to investigate incidents and support practical return-to-work strategies.
  • Track claim activity, identify trends and root causes, and recommend actions to reduce claim frequency and severity.
  • Prepare claim metrics, reports, and KPI updates for leadership related to claim costs, closure rates, and loss prevention efforts.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible claims management experience, including Workers' Compensation, property, and General Liability claims.
  • Experience managing claims in an industrial environment; manufacturing or heavy industrial experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workers' Compensation and liability insurance practices and regulations, ideally across Arizona, California, Hawaii, Washington, Missouri, and Nevada.
  • Hands-on experience working with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, adjusters, brokers, and legal counsel.
  • Analytical, organized, and decisive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, sensitive claim information, and established deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Human Resources, Occupational Safety, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional certifications such as AIC, CWCP, ARM, or similar credentials are a plus.

ALL ABOUT JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURE
Like you, our founder, Don Jensen was looking for a way to support his family, so he started his company in 1968. Since its founding, we've supported communities across Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington, Missouri and Hawaii.
Jensen likely impacts your daily life. We build culverts to drain water from your neighborhoods, underground utility boxes to hold cables, and manholes to allow workers access to the sewers deep below the roads we drive on. And that's just a small sample of what we do at Jensen daily.
When you work at one of Jensen's many locations, you will enjoy the close relationships and camaraderie of a small company while being part of a larger, well-established, growing company.
We are committed to ensuring employment practices that promote equal opportunities. Please let us know if you require any reasonable accommodation during your interview.
We consider the wide variety of factors in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Jensen Infrastructure offers various competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, PTO, and 401k with a Company match. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Jensen's annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Incentive awards will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.
