Job Summary:
Clearwater Analytics is a company focused on delivering data distribution, reporting, and analytics projects within the investment accounting and management domain. The Project Manager will oversee project execution, coordinate resources, and ensure high-quality delivery of client reporting and insights solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as a trusted relationship manager responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough responses to all client inquiries and a successful transition to the steady-state servicing team.
• Define and finalize the scope for reporting, data distribution, and insights/analytics projects.
• Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk management strategies for internal, client, and vendor participants.
• Coordinate efforts across service teams, data engineers, BI developers, and third parties to deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes.
• Generates weekly status reports, holds weekly status meetings with client and project team.
• Schedules and leads steering committee meetings with C-level client decision makers and Clearwater senior management.
• Manage and report on budget for implementation.
• Seek out, recommend, and implement continuous service improvements.
• Be the bridge between various business stakeholders including Client Servicing team, Sales team, and Development team.
• Ability to run multiple simultaneous implementations with minimal oversight.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong background in financial services (investment, banking, insurance, fintech).
• Experience in data platform projects including Snowflake, data lakes, ETL workflows, and BI reporting.
• Project manage in a matrix reporting environment.
• Explores, trials, and provides trusted recommendations for the use of other tools and technologies as use cases arise.
• Knowledge of investment accounting, financial reporting, data governance, and data security compliance.
• Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and delivery model.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Technical skills in JIRA, Excel, Monday.com and Salesforce.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s & master's in finance, accounting, computer science or information systems.
• 7+ years of relevant project management and implementation experience working with external clients.
• Proven experience implementing software solutions within Asset Management, Market Data and/or Insurance space.
• Consulting experience.
• Securities or financial markets experience.
