As a Quality Engineer Lead - Data Testing (Python) within PNC's Corporate Functions Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.
-Highly skilled Quality Engineer Lead/Senior Quality Engineer with deep experience in testing Python-based, data intensive systems.
-This role focuses on ensuring the quality and consistency of platforms that support complex data pipelines, APIs, and system generated outputs-particularly within risk, regulatory, and banking domain environments.
-Ability to leverage both manual and automated testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and compliance while driving continuous improvements across our QA processes

  • Leads the development and review of test strategies and plansto ensure alignment with project goals, including scope, tools, and testing approaches. Provides guidance to more junior team members regarding testing needs.
  • Identifies and addresses resource and environment gaps, escalating unresolved or recurring issues to appropriate Quality Engineer leadership.
  • Monitors and manages testing risks and defects, ensuring they meet ECO standards and are accurately reported.
  • Prepares and delivers test summary reports and documentation for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborates across teams and participate in Quality Engineer CoP meetings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
