Position Description: Position SummaryThe Risk Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s enterprise risk management, insurance, claims, safety, compliance, and loss-prevention programs across a large multifamily portfolio.This position partners with executive leadership, property operations, maintenance teams, human resources, legal counsel, insurance carriers, brokers, lenders, vendors, and third-party administrators to identify and mitigate operational, financial, legal, environmental, and reputational risks. The Risk Manager will establish consistent standards across the portfolio, manage insurance and claims activity, monitor compliance, and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.Essential ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Risk Management• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management program for the company and its multifamily properties.• Identify, evaluate, prioritize, and mitigate risks related to property operations, resident safety, employees, vendors, construction, technology, and business continuity.• Maintain a portfolio-wide risk register and track corrective actions.•
