Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team in Plano, TX!

The Senior QA Engineer will have the opportunity to ensure the highest quality of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies, automation frameworks, and performance validation. The role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing, including building frameworks from scratch, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and validating integrations across complex systems. The ideal candidate is highly skilled and motivated, with exceptional communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a proactive "can-do" attitude. Responsibilities include designing and executing detailed test cases, performing functional and performance testing, and collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to uphold quality standards and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Salary: $80,000

How You Will Contribute:

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for web, desktop, and UI applications.

  • Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke) and ensure thorough coverage.

  • Build automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and C# in Visual Studio.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing in Azure DevOps.

  • Conduct API testing and validate integrations across multiple systems.

  • Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards.

  • Analyze requirements and provide clear, actionable feedback.

  • Maintain and optimize automation suites for scalability and reliability.

  • Work with Oracle and SQL databases for data validation and backend testing.

  • Document test results, defects, and provide detailed reports in Azure DevOps.

  • Work closely with the QA Lead to ensure alignment with overall QA strategy and objectives.

  • Foster a positive team environment and collaborating effectively.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Knowledge of the insurance domain and related workflows.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Expert-level experience in:

  • Selenium WebDriver with C#.

  • Visual Studio for automation development.

  • Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD.

  • API testing (REST/SOAP).

  • Performance testing with JMeter.

  • Proficiency in Oracle and SQL for database testing.

  • Ability to create automation frameworks from scratch.

  • Experience in functional, regression, smoke testing.

  • Familiarity with desktop and web application testing.

  • Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Team player with a respectful and collaborative attitude.

  • Minimum 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in automation.

  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments. (Preferred)

  • Exposure to DevOps practices and continuous testing strategies. (Preferred)
