Job description

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.
WWPS is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Vernon, TX in support of a large hyperscale data center construction project. This role will support project controls, reporting, data integration, and program level visibility for a fast-paced mission critical construction environment.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical, organizational, communication, and technical skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic project environment. This person should be comfortable taking ownership of data structure, reporting workflows, and integrated project information across cost, schedule, procurement, resources, and construction progress.
The right candidate will help the project team properly structure information, improve data collection processes, and develop integrated reporting tools that support better decision making. Experience with large data sets, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, and construction project reporting is highly preferred. Prior experience supporting data center, mission critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or large commercial construction projects is a strong plus.
This position is onsite in Vernon, TX. WWPS is seeking local candidates or candidates willing to relocate.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models to track cost, schedule, resource, procurement, and construction performance data
  • Build and maintain predictive models to help characterize project cost, schedule, and resource variables
  • Develop indicators that show current project status, forecasted performance, trends, and potential areas of risk
  • Connect to internal and external data sources to collect, organize, validate, and analyze project information
  • Integrate data from cost, procurement, schedule, resource, and construction systems to support project analytics
  • Support project controls and program leadership with reporting that improves visibility into project risk, status, trends, and performance
  • Develop tools that allow users to extract, analyze, and report project information more efficiently
  • Support business processes used to collect required project data from multiple stakeholders
  • Create visuals, dashboards, and presentation materials for project leadership and client facing reporting
  • Complete administrative and data management tasks to support the project team

Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred, including formulas, data transfer, visuals, and VBA
  • Experience working with large data sets and structuring data for reporting and analysis
  • General understanding of project scheduling software, including Primavera P6
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Ability to organize information from multiple sources and turn it into clear, useful reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential project documents and information with professionalism
  • Self-starter who identifies issues, creates solutions, and acts on facts
