Join Our Team as a Project Manager!

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? Do you want to work for a company that values teamwork, innovation, and excellence? Look no further! RMT Construction & Development Group, LLC is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Project Manager with us, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, healthcare, education, and government projects. You will play a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for construction and a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, change orders, and resources
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, procurement, and project documentation
  • Monitor project financial performance and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Conduct regular site visits and coordinate closely with Superintendents

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction, with demonstrated experience independently managing projects for a General Contractor or Construction Manager
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office

Nice to Have Skills:

  • OSHA certification and procurement experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and ensure quality control
  • Microsoft Project

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: $90,000-$130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.
