Position Summary:
Project Managers at Selene Finance are responsible for managing a range of business and technology projects of moderate complexity. They support the delivery of solutions by coordinating project scope, timelines, and resources using both traditional and Agile methodologies. Project Managers work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, timely execution, and alignment with business goals.
This role will manage a variety of projects, including initiatives that span both business operations and technical implementations. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing projects independently and contributing to Agile practices in a collaborative environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include the following. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Spend approximately 60% of time managing projects through various phases of software development (Discovery Delivery), 20% gathering requirements for smaller-scale efforts, and 20% on reporting, metrics, and resource coordination.

  • Manage project delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Coordinate multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.

  • Identify and escalate risks and issues, and support mitigation planning.

  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and team members.

  • Follow established project management processes and maintain documentation.

  • Support project delivery from initiation through implementation and closure.

  • Track resource needs and assist with utilization planning.

  • Communicate budget and task status clearly across teams.

  • Align project deliverables with business objectives and report progress accordingly.

  • Coordinate final delivery activities including UAT, implementation, and sign-off.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify solutions.

  • Maintain project documentation and assets.

  • Work with product and business teams to define requirements and estimate effort.
