Spencer’s & Spirit is seeking a Director, IT Project Management to lead the PMO function, drive execution of complex initiatives, and strengthen IT’s role as a strategic business partner. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate effectively across modern technology environments, including data, BI, and emerging AI capabilities, while driving strong delivery outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the PMO strategy and align project portfolios to business priorities
  • Drive execution of complex, cross-functional programs across applications, data, BI, and AI initiatives
  • Establish effective, scalable governance frameworks that drive clarity, accountability, and consistent delivery
  • Partner with business and executive stakeholders to translate priorities into clear, measurable outcomes
  • Stay actively engaged in delivery, removing obstacles and keeping initiatives on track
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and resource gaps early, and adjust plans as needed
  • Continuously improve project delivery by evolving tools, processes, and team capability

  • 15+ years of experience in IT project/program leadership, including leading teams
  • Experience working across multiple IT disciplines (applications, data, infrastructure)
  • Strong understanding of data, BI, and/or AI-driven environments and how they support business decision-making
  • Proven ability to deliver complex initiatives in fast-paced or evolving organizations
  • Hands-on, ownership-oriented leadership style, with the ability to stay close to execution
  • Ability to apply project management principles with flexibility and sound judgment based on the needs of the initiative
  • Strong understanding of project delivery concepts and lifecycle management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
