Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced P&C Insurance Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology programs across Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Product & Rating, Integrations, Data Migration, and Digital Transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong P&C insurance domain expertise and proven experience managing large-scale, multi-vendor technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project/program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and quality.
  • Manage P&C insurance implementations, modernization, upgrades, enhancements, and transformation programs.
  • Coordinate business, functional, technical, QA, data, integration, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
  • Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery.
  • Manage project governance, RAID logs, dashboards, KPIs, status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Renewals, Product/Rating, and Agent/Broker Distribution.
  • Manage distributed onsite, offshore/nearshore, and multi-vendor teams.
  • Oversee UAT, testing, defect management, production readiness, cutover, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Track budget, actuals, burn rate, resource utilization, and forecasts.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, and scope changes.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience in P&C Insurance.
  • Strong understanding of the P&C insurance lifecycle.
  • Experience with Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Renewals.
  • Proven experience with insurance technology implementations, modernization, enhancements, or transformation.
  • Experience managing integrations, data migration/conversion, and enterprise dependencies.
  • Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
  • Experience working with system integrators and multiple technology vendors.
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise insurance transformation initiatives.
