Job description

The University of Tennessee and Regional One Health are actively seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track academic clinical position of Assistant Professor in Radiology for work at Regional One Health, a Level I trauma center. The candidate will be a strong general radiologist with expertise in the specific area of breast imaging. 

EDUCATION: Medical Doctor. Completion of an accredited residency required. Sub certifications/training in Breast Imaging required.

LICENSES: Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee, Current certification DEA number. Eligible for malpractice insurance. Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site

Clinical responsibilities may include utilizing advanced breast imaging technology to provide individually tailored, comprehensive evaluations for the early and precise detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality interventional breast procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound guided, and MRI-guided biopsies. This position will teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The case mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US and MRI.
