As a Sales Associate - Insurance, you will play a key role in promoting iA Insurance products and offerings to Independent Financial Advisors through the Brokerage Network. Working closely with a team of Insurance Sales Directors, you will build strong business relationships with advisors to understand their needs and support the execution of sales strategies.

What you'll accomplish with us

As a Sales Associate - Insurance, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by increasing advisor awareness of iA's life insurance products and industry-leading ease-of-doing-business processes.

  • Educate and support advisors through individual and group training sessions on iA life insurance products, sales concepts, illustration software, and required documentation.

  • Develop new business opportunities and build strong relationships with Independent Financial Advisors across the Brokerage Network.

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and marketing teams to create and deliver impactful presentations, while maintaining brand awareness and market presence.

  • Respond to advisor inquiries in a timely and professional manner and represent iA at conferences, road shows, presentations, and other industry events.

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry or brokerage environment. A Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma is considered an asset. Industry designations such as CLU, CFP, CHS, or other related certifications are also considered assets.

  • Advanced level of English proficiency required, as the role involves training advisors on life insurance products, responding to inquiries, developing business relationships, delivering presentations, and collaborating with advisors and business partners based in Toronto and across Canada on a regular basis.

The typical base salary hiring range for this position is between $73,214 and $96,096 CAD per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance-based incentive compensation program. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
