Job description

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Processor:

Role:

As an EFT Processor, you will support electronic paymentadministration to include but not limited to: ACH settlement and origination;inclearing and returned checks; domestic and international wires. This role willperform research for members, employees, and third parties, as well as othermiscellaneous duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Post ACH and inclearing transactions tospecified accounts according to credit union policies and procedures, as wellas NACHA rules.
  • Manage the daily activities of the mobile RDCprogram.
  • Complete domestic and international wiretransfers according to credit union policies and procedures.
  • Process exceptions, adjustments, returns,reversals, stop payments, death notices, and reclamations.
  • Handle phone requests and other inquiries from internal departments, external members, financial institutions, and government entities regarding ACH and check transaction.
  • Reconcile daily activities, electronic journalbalances, and specific general ledger accounts.
  • Manage Reg E (ODP) program.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Skills:

Experience:One year to three years of similar or related experience. Educationย ย  A high school education or GED.

InterpersonalSkills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential. Work involvespersonal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generallyregarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information.

Other Skills:Proficiency with computers, keyboarding, required software, and otheressential technologies is required.


Physical Requirements:

Orientation: This position primarily requiressitting, some standing and walking. Talking: The ability to express or exchangeideas by means of spoken word to communicate information to members andcoworkers.
