Job description

SPECIALTY UNDERWRITERS LLC, the industry leader in equipment maintenance management, is seeking a qualified individual to work in our Reimbursements Department.

This critical position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing repair service reports and invoices submitted by our clients and vendors to ensure billing accuracy. This position is responsible for comparing services performed with our coverage and ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.

The primary duties are as follows:

  • Analyzes and process repair invoices.
  • Determines if the services provided are consistent with our coverage.
  • Interacts with customers and vendors regarding questions about invoices and payments.
  • Research questions and issues associated with repair invoices. Documents all pertinent information.
  • Proofs data entry and corrects errors.
  • Files customer contracts and related paperwork.

Qualified applicants will have the following:

  • Associate degree OR relevant industry experience.
  • PC skills in a Windows based environment.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping skills.
