Position: Operations Manager (Lisle, IL) Job Overview: The Operations Manager will lead daily manufacturing and warehouse operations while driving process improvements, workforce development, and scalable operational strategies

This individual will oversee skilled and hourly teams, establish performance standards, and ensure operational metrics consistently meet or exceed expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a metrics-driven mindset, strong people leadership skills, and experience in high-growth manufacturing or industrial environments. This is a direct-hire position.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Lead, manage, and hold accountable a mixed team of skilled and support staff Set clear performance expectations and consistently follow through on accountability Foster a culture of respect, ownership, safety, and high performance on the shop floor Develop direct reports and identify future leaders to strengthen organizational bench depth Lead daily stand-up meetings, weekly operational reviews, and monthly improvement initiatives Operations & Performance Management Own and drive operational metrics including throughput, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, quality rates, and scrap/rework reduction Monitor and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and reporting systems Ensure production and warehouse operations support aggressive growth and scalability objectives Drive workforce and capacity planning initiatives designed to support continued double-digit growth Continuous Improvement Identify and eliminate operational waste using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles Improve efficiency across production, pick/pack/ship, warehouse, and material flow operations Partner with company leadership to design and implement scalable systems and processes Support operational readiness as the business grows to 2-3x its current size Key Performance Metrics On-time delivery: 98% or greater Inventory accuracy: 98% or greater Reduction in defect and rework rates Zero uninvestigated safety incidents New hire productivity achieved within 30 days Qualifications: 2-6 years of experience in an operations supervisor or manager role within manufacturing, fabrication, or a related industrial environment Proven experience leading hourly employees and skilled trade teams Strong analytical and metrics-driven decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to address performance, operational, and culture-related issues directly and effectively Experience building and utilizing dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting tools Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred Experience supporting or working within a rapidly growing organization strongly preferred Ambition and leadership potential to grow into a senior operations or executive leadership role Benefits: Competitive base salary plus bonus Full benefits package including: 401(k) with company match Health insurance 100% company-paid short- and long-term disability Up to $50,000 in company-paid life and AD&D coverage Generous PTO and paid holidays, including Summer Hour Fridays A high-growth company that promotes from within A respected brand that customers trust and welcome Learn more about Saige Partners on Facebook or LinkedIn.
