This position will require someone with an understanding that one needs to have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude to help make things happen.

Job Summary

The Total Loss Adjuster will provide service to customers regarding claims involving auto total losses. The Total Loss Adjuster will be responsible for preparation of necessary correspondence to settle total loss claims with insureds, claimants, and their legal representatives and will issue indemnity payments with a focus on accuracy of settlements. This includes reviewing all options, conditioning, and prior damage to confirm we have an accurate cash value.

Job Responsibilities

  • Explain procedures and answer inquiries for adjusting total loss claims.
  • Review evaluation documents for accuracy and compliance for regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate settlement of first and third party total losses.
  • Monitor first and third-party rental.
  • Monitor title procurement process to ensure timely processing.
  • Monitor salvage for timely processing.

Job Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

Associates or bachelor's degree required.

Adjuster Licensing as required by state.

Knowledge & Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in handling non-standard auto insurance claims.

  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrative ease of both verbal and written formats.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • A high degree of motivation and team orientation.
