Insurance Account Representative (OTL/RIBO/LLQP)

Location: 1950 Fischer Hallman Rd, Kitchener ON
Type: Full Time - Permanent

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Client-Focused Insurance Account Representative to join our team in Kitchener. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer service, relationship management, and insurance sales. You’ll work with an existing book of business, helping clients with their insurance needs while identifying opportunities to grow coverage through cross-selling and upselling. If you’re an outgoing professional who enjoys building relationships and driving results, this is a strong opportunity to grow your career in insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients (auto, home, commercial and life insurance)

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of insurance accounts

  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, and policy reviews

  • Sell insurance products to new and existing clients

  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and retention goals

  • Maintain accurate client records and follow compliance standards

  • Stay up to date with insurance products, industry trends, and regulations

Qualifications:

  • OTL or RIBO license (Property & Casualty Insurance) – required or ability to obtain

  • LLQP license (Life Insurance) – required or ability to obtain

  • Experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or customer service preferred

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets or KPIs

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of $50,000 - $55,000 (based on experience and licensing)

  • Uncapped commission + bonus structure

  • 3 weeks paid vacation
