Position: Land Development Intern - Summer 2027 Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Land Development Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Regional Michigan Offices
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a Land Development Intern to help us keep building.
Working with our Land Development team, you will research project sites, assist with feasibility studies, and work on site plans and layouts.
What You'll Do
  • Research development sites, zoning, and environmental factors.
  • Assist with feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
  • Collaborate on site plans and design layouts.
  • Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft real project designs.
  • Join site visits to see how designs come to life.
  • Help maintain project documentation and reports.
What We're Looking For
  • Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous internship or field experience is helpful but not required.
