Job description

Are you driven, entrepreneurial, and interested in building a long-term career in commercial insurance? Farmers Insurance District 11 is looking for a Business Insurance Agent who wants to grow a book of business they can truly call their own.

SALARY + COMMISSION OFFERED to get started!


What You’ll Do

  • Sell commercial insurance products, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and commercial auto
  • Prospect and develop relationships with small to mid-sized business owners
  • Build and manage your own book of business with the help of our district office and referrals from our local agents
  • Conduct policy reviews and identify coverage gaps and growth opportunities
  • Work with Farmers’ strong brand, underwriting support, and product portfolio
  • Develop long-term client relationships focused on retention and referrals

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interest in commercial insurance sales
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a business
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prospect and generate new business
  • Insurance experience preferred, but not required (training available)
  • Must be able to obtain or already hold applicable Property & Casualty License
