Latorre Insurance is a leading independent insurance agency serving individuals and businesses throughout North and South Carolina. The agency is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has branch offices in Greensboro and Raleigh. We are seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish), highly motivated, and results-driven Commercial Lines Insurance Agent to join our team. This position is ideal for a licensed Property & Casualty insurance professional with a proven ability to develop new commercial business and build lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for expanding and growing servicing and/or expanding the agencyโ€™s book of business. The winning candidate will be outgoing and flexible, with an eye for detail and a proven track record of success in commercial insurance sales and account management. They will have exceptional client management skills and work well with a variety of tasks, including customer retention and cross-selling. Income will be commensurate with experience and may include bonus opportunities based on performance.

What Youโ€™ll Do :

  • Prospect and develop new commercial insurance accounts through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community involvement.
  • Build relationships with business owners to identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Quote, present, and close Commercial Lines insurance policies.
  • Cross-sell additional insurance products, including personal lines and life insurance, when appropriate.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to promote retention and generate referrals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and activity within the agency management system.
  • Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and North Carolina insurance regulations.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications :

  • Active North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required).
  • Experience selling and servicing Business Owners Policies (BOP), Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Property, Professional Liability, and Umbrella coverage.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with business clients.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, AMS360, or similar agency management systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
