WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Implementation Manager at Strive Health, you will own the day-to-day execution of launching new market solutions across our payor, health system, and provider partner portfolio. You'll serve as the central coordination point: translating partnership structure, contractual requirements, and market-specific nuances into a clear, executable implementation plan and driving it through to a successful go-live and handoff to ongoing operations.
This role sits at the intersection of external partner management and internal cross-functional execution. You'll work closely with Strive's clinical, technology, operations, analytics, marketing, and infrastructure teams to keep workstreams aligned and launches on track, while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with external partners throughout the process. You'll report directly to the Director of Implementations.
The right candidate is a structured, proactive executor who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership of outcomes rather than just tasks, and is energized by the complexity of value-based care partnerships. This is a lean, high-ownership team, you'll be expected to flex across operational priorities beyond core implementation as business needs evolve, and to bring the same rigor and follow-through to everything you touch.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Own end-to-end implementation for assigned markets, partners, or strategic initiatives, from kickoff through launch ensuring successful launch, transition, and operational readiness.
  • Serve as the primary implementation lead and accountable owner for timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and overall execution quality.
  • Build and manage detailed implementation plans that align internal teams and external partners around scope, milestones, dependencies, and escalation paths - and actively maintain them as conditions evolve.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across internal teams to ensure workstreams stay aligned, decisions are made quickly, and blockers are resolved effectively.
  • Lead day-to-day partner relationship management throughout implementation, establishing trust, maintaining clear communication cadences, and ensuring issues are resolved with appropriate urgency and follow-through.
  • Develop working knowledge of partner types across Strive's book of business, including health plans, health systems, provider groups, provider practices and other value-based care organizations, and adapt implementation approach accordingly.
  • Translate partnership structure, contractual requirements, and market-specific nuances into an executable implementation plan; understand what's downstream of your decisions and implement accordingly.
  • Anticipate risks early, escalate appropriately, and drive mitigation plans to keep implementations on track without waiting to be asked.
  • Own implementation outcomes, not just task completion, ensuring that decisions made during implementation support successful long-term operations.
  • Lead internal and external training to ensure all parties are aligned on partner contracts, workflows, and go-live requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, positioning Strive Health as a trusted strategic partner throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Produce structured and ad hoc reporting, meeting materials, and stakeholder communications to keep internal and external audiences informed and issues resolved quickly.
  • Continuously improve implementation tools, templates, and playbooks to enable faster and more consistent launches over time.
  • Support special projects and broader team initiatives that strengthen implementation performance and scalability across the organization.
  • Support cross-functional operational initiatives outside of core implementation as assigned, including vendor management, compliance-adjacent projects, and other Director-delegated priorities.
  • Travel as needed to support in-person partner meetings, facilitate launches, and participate in Strive-sponsored team events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in implementation, project management, consulting, operations, or other client-facing roles with end-to-end ownership.
  • Strong understanding and experience working in the US healthcare system.
  • Experience working with health plans, health systems, provider groups, value-based care organizations, or similarly complex partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive work forward, solve problems, and manage ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel and be on-site to meet business needs.
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong attention to detail, highly analytical, organized, and able to keep multiple balls in the air at once.
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive projects forward independently and with limited direction.
  • Strong project management discipline with the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience leading implementations in healthcare, especially in new market launches or partner expansions.
  • Experience improving workflows, processes, or implementation playbooks across teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.

Annual Base Salary Range: $86,000 - $104,000
