Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG / TIG Welders for projects located in or around Brownsville, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:        

  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a shop fabrication environment
  • Complete occasional field welding and installation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
  • Fit, fabricate, and weld components to specifications
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum 
  • Grind, finish, and inspect completed welds
  • Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
  • Strong fabrication and fitting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for short-duration projects
  • Ability to lift materials and work in both shop and field environments
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication
  • Carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding
  • Plasma cutting and oxy-fuel torch operation
  • Grinding, finishing, and weld inspection
  • Material layout and fit-up
  • Experience with aluminum 
  • Forklift or skid steer experience (preferred but not required)
