Job description

Premier Roofing is seeking a field-based professional to conduct residential property inspections, document storm-related damage, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the insurance restoration process. This role serves as the primary on-site representative for homeowners, working closely with sales, claims, estimating, and operations teams to ensure accurate inspections, timely documentation, and seamless project execution. During periods of lower inspection volume, you'll support production activities including pre-build inspections, quality assurance visits, final walkthroughs, and project closeout. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, comfortable using technology in the field, and willing to travel extensively, including overnight and short-notice assignments, to support catastrophe response and operational needs across Premier Roofing's service markets. 
  • Property Inspections
    •  Conduct residential exterior property inspections following company standards. 
    •  Identify storm-related damage and accurately document findings. 
    •  Capture detailed photos, measurements, and inspection documentation. 
    •  Utilize technology platforms to complete inspection reports in real time. 
    •  Ensure inspection quality meets carrier and internal expectations. 
  • Customer Experience
    •  Serve as the primary in-person representative of Premier Roofing. 
    •  Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process. 
    •  Set clear expectations regarding project timelines and next steps. 
    •  Build trust through professionalism, communication, and reliability. 
    •  Resolve customer concerns promptly while partnering with internal teams. 
  • Operational Execution
    •  Coordinate effectively with centralized sales, estimating, and operations teams. 
    •  Ensure timely completion of assigned inspections and field activities. 
    •  Maintain SLA adherence for inspections, documentation, and customer follow-up. 
    •  Communicate field observations that may impact claim progression or production. 
  • Production & Build Support (During Low Assignment Volume Periods)
    •  Conduct pre-build site reviews and verify project readiness. 
    •  Support material deliveries and job start coordination when needed. 
    •  Perform quality assurance visits during active construction. 
    •  Complete final walkthroughs and verify customer satisfaction. 
    •  Assist production with issue resolution and operational requests throughout the project lifecycle. 
    •  Support punch list completion and project closeout activities. 
  • Team Collaboration
    •  Work closely with Production Managers, Project Coordinators, Claims, and Inside Sales. 
    •  Share field feedback to improve operational processes. 
    •  Participate in training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
    •  Maintain a positive, team-first attitude while adapting to changing business needs. 
  • Travel Requirements
    •  Greater than 50% overnight travel is required to support inspections, production activities, catastrophe response, and operational needs across Premier Roofing's service markets. 
    •  Must be willing and able to travel on short notice based on business demand and weather events. 
    •  Travel may include extended assignments in out-of-state markets during periods of increased claim volume.
