MRA - The Management Association is seeking an Employment & Education Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support member organizations by conducting employment verifications, education verifications, and professional reference checks to help ensure accurate and reliable candidate information.

You will play a key role in gathering, documenting, and communicating verification results while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.
This position requires strong written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Because this is an on-demand role, workload will fluctuate based on member needs and assignment volume, requiring flexibility and effective time management.

Because this is an on-demand role, your workload will shift based on active member assignments, providing flexibility and adaptability throughout the day. This is not a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employment verifications, education verifications, and professional reference checks using online resources and internal systems
  • Communicate professionally with employers, educational institutions, references, members, and internal teams through phone and written correspondence
  • Manage multiple verification cases simultaneously while maintaining quality and turnaround time expectations
  • Accurately document verification results and maintain detailed records within company systems
  • Navigate and work efficiently across multiple platforms including Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Teams, and other business applications
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely and professional communication
  • Apply feedback, coaching, and training to continuously improve performance and effectiveness
  • Research and resolve discrepancies through effective problem-solving and follow-up
  • Collaborate with team members while working independently to meet departmental goals and deadlines
