Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations and drive process improvements within our team. This role involves monitoring process performance, implementing safety and efficiency enhancements, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring process performance and responding to process issues.
  • Develop, document, and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and standard work.
  • Analyze production data to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Implement process changes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Assist with new product or process introductions, including process setup and trials.
  • Drive and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify and eliminate waste, reduce scrap, and minimize labor inefficiencies.
  • Champion kaizen events and monitor improvement metrics.
  • Conduct operator training sessions and update documentation to sustain process improvements.
  • Lead capital project initiatives, overseeing equipment selection, justification, installation, and startup.
  • Develop and support capital requests with ROI analyses and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for seamless equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Support process validation, capability studies, and acceptance testing for new or modified equipment.
  • Maintain and update documentation following capital project implementation.
