Job description


  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data integrations, and analytical datasets supporting actuarial, underwriting, claims, and business analytics.

  • Partner with actuaries, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.

  • Support Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting and analytics platforms by preparing and validating data assets and creating dashboards for management.

  • Assist with data quality monitoring, validation, reconciliation, and documentation.

  • Participate in developing data products that enable self-service analytics and reporting.

  • Work with technology teams to support cloud-based data platforms and integration processes.

  • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and data reliability.

  • Follow data engineering standards, development practices, and governance requirements.

  • Continuously learn and apply new data engineering and analytics technologies, tools, and techniques.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field

  • 0 to 3 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, software development, data integration, or a related technical field

  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts

  • Exposure to Python or another programming language through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
