Controller - Finance Manager | Full Time

FTK Hospitality | Miami, FL-

West Palm Beach location.

Come join the team in South Florida as a Controller for this hot fast casual restaurant brand, that is experiencing rapid growth throughout Florida and beyond. This is a unique opportunity for a financial executive to take a hands-on leadership role, partnering directly with ownership and operations leadership. You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial infrastructure necessary for our ambitious expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple restaurant locations.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly financial statements and restaurant P&Ls.
  • Build cash and balance sheet forecasting models to support growth planning.
  • Prepare financial models and reporting for board presentations.
  • Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs, driving prime cost management.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Manage payroll processing and quarterly payroll tax compliance.
  • Coordinate year-end reporting and audits with external CPA firms.
  • Apply franchise finance and accounting principles as the brand expands.
  • Support new restaurant openings and multi-state growth initiatives.
  • This is a Hybrid role in West Plam beach office 2-3 days week

Requirements

  • CPA designation preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 5+ years as a Controller or senior accounting leader in restaurants.
  • Multi-unit restaurant experience; fast casual background strongly preferred.
  • Experience with a rapidly growing, multi-state restaurant company.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant P&Ls, prime cost, and inventory controls.
  • Experience building cash/balance sheet forecasting models and board reporting.
  • Familiarity with franchise finance and accounting principles.
  • Toast POS / Toast Payroll experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting software experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Schedule

Full-time position with competitive compensation plus bonus.-

Hybrid role - 2-3 Days a week in our West Palm beach office
