What is an insurance concierge?

An Insurance Concierge is a professional who assists clients with navigating the complexities of insurance policies and claims. They act as a personalized point of contact, helping individuals or businesses understand their coverage options, manage paperwork, and resolve issues with providers. Their goal is to simplify the insurance process, save clients time, and ensure they receive the best possible service. Insurance Concierges may work independently or as part of an insurance agency, and often provide support for health, auto, home, or business insurance needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an insurance concierge?

To thrive as an Insurance Concierge, you need a solid understanding of insurance products, claims processes, and customer service, often backed by relevant licenses such as a state insurance producer license. Familiarity with insurance management software, CRM platforms, and digital communication tools is typically expected. These skills enable effective client support, accurate policy management, and a seamless customer experience in a competitive industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Concierge Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Inc. located in Medford, Oregon. This role focuses on delivering exceptional physical therapy services in a home care setting, directly impacting patient recovery and quality of life. Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and function following orthopedic surgery or injury.

About the Organization

At Concierge Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Inc., we are committed to enhancing patient well-being through a blend of expert care and innovative therapeutic approaches. Our organization prides itself on creating a workplace that fosters inclusivity, connection, and empowerment among our team members. We provide outpatient physical therapy services that incorporate the latest research and educational practices to ensure excellence in patient care.

Work Environment

This position operates onsite within patients' homes in the Medford area. The home care environment allows therapists to customize treatment based on the individual needs of each patient in a familiar and comfortable setting. Our therapists work closely with patients to design personalized treatment plans that facilitate recovery while accommodating their everyday lives. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, providing a stable and predictable schedule, contributing to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, incorporating detailed patient histories, physical assessments, and individualized goal-setting prior to treatment initiation.
  • Design and implement effective treatment protocols tailored to the needs identified during the evaluation, focusing on improving physical function, strength, and mobility.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated and effective care plans that adapt as the patient progresses.
  • Carefully document all aspects of patient care, from initial evaluations through treatment sessions and discharge planning, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Meet productivity standards by effectively managing time with each patient, while also engaging in community outreach and educational initiatives.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to further own professional development and enhance clinical skills, potentially serving as a clinical instructor for upcoming physical therapists.
  • Address barriers to patient care by utilizing site-specific data to improve accessibility and patient experiences within the home.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, various injuries, or chronic conditions that impact mobility and functionality. As you work with diverse populations, you will see a wide range of cases that require personalized treatment approaches to meet the unique physiological and emotional needs of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Oregon.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred Experience

While prior experience in a physical therapy setting is beneficial, it is not a requirement. We welcome recent graduates and those seeking to advance their careers in a supportive environment dedicated to mentorship and growth.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to attracting qualified professionals. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Ongoing opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
  • Pursuit of wellness benefits including gym memberships and health programs.
  • Employee Health Assistance Fund to support personal health needs.
Career Growth Opportunities

We believe in investing in our team's future. As part of Concierge Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Inc., you'll have access to ongoing training programs and leadership opportunities, preparing you for potential advancement within the organization.
