Job description

Primary Care Physician – Bon Secours Franklin Family Medicine | Franklin, VA Find purpose, balance, and community with Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Bon Secours Franklin Family Medicine is seeking a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our well-established, patient-focused practice in beautiful Franklin, Virginia. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a new graduate ready to start your career, you’ll find a supportive environment that values teamwork, autonomy, and the joy of practicing medicine the way it’s meant to be.

You’ll collaborate with other local primary care providers in town in a collegial network that puts patients—and providers—first.  

Seeking a confident, clinically excellent physician who is comfortable in a solo MD role.  Other physicians are local and accessible via phone, text, IM.  You're supported in-practice by a CMA and LPN.

    • $40,000 Starting Bonus
    • Resident Stipend:  $3,000 per month available for 2nd and 3rd Year Residents (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.)
    • Up to $10,000 Relocation Assistance > 50 miles
    • Up to $100,000 Med School Debt Assistance 
    • Guaranteed Base Compensation of $275,000 for first two years plus productivity and quality incentives if wRVU threshold is met
    • Bonus Available:  wRVU Productivity, $ per wRVU Quality Goal, System KPI attainment
    • Annual CME Allowance:  $10,000
    • Multiple medical plan options, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
    • 403b retirement savings plus matching on first 4%
    • Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan for Physicians - 5% of clinical comp up to $25,000 per year for first 3 years - subsequent years based on productivity attainment
    • Life Insurance: 2× base compensation

    • Includes medical malpractice coverage with tail coverage

    • Up to 8 weeks additional for Parental Time Off

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM/ABMS)

  • Completion of a U.S.-based Family Medicine Residency

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
