Job description

Who We Are

Xceedance is a global insurance transformation company, powered by deep domain expertise, data proficiency, and a technology‑first approach to delivery. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we work exclusively with the insurance industry, partnering with insurers, reinsurers, managing general agents, mutuals, brokers, and self‑insureds to help them operate with greater agility, precision, and trust across the entire insurance value chain.

What sets us apart is how we deliver; we are building a model that blends human expertise, software, and artificial intelligence. Our purpose is straightforward: to help catalyze insurance ecosystems for the benefit of society.

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer to build the market case for Xceedance as an insurance Service‑as‑a‑Software company that pairs real domain depth with real, production AI. Over the past decade Xceedance has built deep operational and technology expertise across underwriting, claims, and policy servicing, and has grown quickly, without its market presence always keeping pace. The CMO will own brand, positioning, demand generation, product marketing, and analyst relations, report directly to the CEO, sit on the Executive Leadership Team, and build the marketing function as much as run it.

This is a rare opportunity to help steer a proven, profitable, and fast‑scaling company through its most exciting phase yet. If you are energized by shaping strategy, growing businesses, and modernizing an industry that touches nearly every part of the economy, we would like to talk.

What You’ll Be Doing Brand & Positioning
  • Define how the market should understand Xceedance relative to other insurance services and technology providers, competing on domain depth and working technology rather than scale alone.
  • Turn what Xceedance actually does into language a busy underwriter or COO will read and remember, and keep brand guidelines consistent across 13 locations and all client‑facing materials.
Product Marketing
  • Translate Xceedance's AI orchestration platform into a story the market can understand and trust, and arm client‑facing teams with the language and proof points to sell it confidently.
Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
  • Partner with regional Presidents and the Strategic Accounts team to build a marketing engine that generates and accelerates qualified pipeline, including account‑based campaigns for target carriers, MGAs, and Lloyd's syndicates.
  • Own the editorial calendar, digital presence, and the case studies and proof points that make Xceedance's results credible.
Brand & Narrative Discipline
  • Hold the line on precision over hype, stating capabilities and outcomes exactly as they are so the brand earns and keeps the trust of skeptical insurance buyers.
Thought Leadership & Analyst Relations
  • Own and grow standing with analyst firms, and help the CEO and Executive Leadership Team show up in the industry conversations that matter.
Team, Budget & Agency Leadership
  • Hire, mentor, and organize a marketing team and agency roster that can operate at the pace of a fast‑growing, globally distributed company, and run marketing like a business unit with a clear view of what is working.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience leading a full marketing function, brand, demand generation, and team, in a complex or regulated industry such as insurance, financial services, healthcare, or enterprise software with long sales cycles.
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers and product teams to genuinely understand a technical platform before marketing it.
  • Executive presence to operate as a peer to the CEO and regional Presidents, with the judgment to know when a claim goes too far.
  • Insurance industry background, particularly in property and casualty, the London or Lloyd's market, MGAs, or broker distribution, is a strong plus.
  • Experience marketing an AI or data platform, and building a marketing function from an early stage in a growth‑stage or private‑equity‑backed services business, is a meaningful advantage.
Core Competencies
  • Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Precision in Language & Messaging
  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Partnership
  • Analyst & Executive Relations
  • Technical Fluency & Product Storytelling
  • Team & Agency Leadership
  • Execution Excellence
What You Can Expect from Us
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas drive change
  • Opportunities to work with cutting‑edge technologies and a worldwide network of insurance experts
  • A culture rooted in teamwork, integrity, continuous learning, and client success

At Xceedance, you will discover the possibility to exceed yourself and grow persistently with us. We offer career development opportunities to our members for a well‑rounded development throughout their journey with us. Xceedance is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
