Job Overview: Claim Assistant

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others? Join our team as a Claim Assistant, where you'll play a key role in supporting Claims Adjusters and ensuring injured workers receive prompt, professional service throughout the claims process.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. Insurance experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong technical skills, and a commitment to excellence.

This is a hybrid position

What You'll Do
  • Open and establish new workers' compensation claims and assign claims to the appropriate adjuster.
  • Support the claims team with correspondence, forms, document preparation, filing, and mail processing.
  • Process and pay invoices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as a helpful resource for injured workers, employers, medical providers, and internal team members by responding to questions and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Maintain claim diaries, follow-up activities, and file documentation.
  • Assist adjusters and management with information requests and administrative support.
  • Help ensure claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
