Our office, Georgia Endodontics - Duluth, is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice.ย 

As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance coverage while delivering exceptional patient experiences.ย 

Your Responsibilities:ย 

  • Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits.ย 
  • Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments.ย 
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.ย 
  • Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail.ย 
  • Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials.ย 
  • Manage Patient Balances (AR)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes.ย 
  • Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes.ย 
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns.ย 
  • Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.ย 

ย As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.ย ย 

Your Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM

We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth insurance operations for our patients. As a vital part of our practice, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims, facilitating billing processes, and providing top-notch support to our patients regarding their insurance-related inquiries. You also have the following:ย 

  • At least 3+ years of experience with insurance posting and as a front office representative
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ย 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.ย 
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.ย 
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.ย 
  • Problem-solving skills to navigate insurance claim discrepancies and denials.ย 
  • High level of professionalism and a patient-centric attitude.ย 
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment
  • Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
  • Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
  • Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
