They review the details of a claim, inspect property damage or injuries, interview claimants and witnesses, and consult with relevant professionals such as medical experts or repair specialists. Their goal is to ensure the claim is valid, assess the appropriate payout, and help resolve the claim efficiently. Adjusters can work for insurance companies, third-party administrators, or as independent contractors.
