Job Title: Contracts SpecialistJob DescriptionThe Contracts Specialist reviews client contracts and issues insurance certificates in accordance with contractual requirements. This role ensures compliance with client-specific insurance terms, manages a high volume of time-sensitive requests, and maintains accurate insurance documentation and records. The position operates in a fast-paced, fully remote environment and requires strong attention to detail, contract comprehension, and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities- Review and interpret client contracts to identify insurance requirements and compliance obligations.
- Issue insurance certificates that align with client-specific contractual terms and conditions.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with insurance-related clauses and requirements within contracts.
- Manage a high volume of time-sensitive insurance certificate requests and contract reviews.
- Maintain accurate insurance documentation, records, and supporting files for audit and reference purposes.
- Work within spreadsheets to track contract and insurance data, using simple formulas in Excel to organize and analyze information.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve insurance-related questions.
- Verify that all issued insurance certificates meet current contractual requirements and are updated as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to support contract and insurance processes.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of experience reviewing and interpreting client contracts.
- 3+ years of experience issuing insurance certificates.
- 3+ years of experience ensuring compliance within contracts.
- Proficiency working within spreadsheets and creating simple formulas in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in contract and insurance documentation.
- Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
- Background or familiarity with insurance processes and terminology.
- Experience with data entry in a professional environment.
- Exposure to finance-related documentation or workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a fully remote work environment and is open to candidates in any time zone. The position involves extensive use of spreadsheets and digital documentation tools to manage contracts and insurance records. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.50/hr.
