Job Title: Contracts Specialist
Job Description
The Contracts Specialist reviews client contracts and issues insurance certificates in accordance with contractual requirements. This role ensures compliance with client-specific insurance terms, manages a high volume of time-sensitive requests, and maintains accurate insurance documentation and records. The position operates in a fast-paced, fully remote environment and requires strong attention to detail, contract comprehension, and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret client contracts to identify insurance requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Issue insurance certificates that align with client-specific contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with insurance-related clauses and requirements within contracts.
  • Manage a high volume of time-sensitive insurance certificate requests and contract reviews.
  • Maintain accurate insurance documentation, records, and supporting files for audit and reference purposes.
  • Work within spreadsheets to track contract and insurance data, using simple formulas in Excel to organize and analyze information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve insurance-related questions.
  • Verify that all issued insurance certificates meet current contractual requirements and are updated as needed.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to support contract and insurance processes.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing and interpreting client contracts.
  • 3+ years of experience issuing insurance certificates.
  • 3+ years of experience ensuring compliance within contracts.
  • Proficiency working within spreadsheets and creating simple formulas in Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in contract and insurance documentation.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Pay and Benefits
