About Us

Metfo Global Resources is a startup established in January 2025, specializing in metals and chemicals. As we expand operations, we are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper who can independently manage our financial functions and support the company’s growth from the ground up.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who can take full ownership of day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone self-driven, detail-oriented, and confident in managing bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records.

  • Process and oversee payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

  • Liaise with management, auditors, and tax professionals as needed.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

  • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
