In this full-time seasonal position, you'll play an important role in supporting our hotel operations by ensuring linens are cleaned, processed, and delivered to the highest standards. This is a physically active role where you'll work alongside a great team while helping provide clean, fresh linens to several Witham Family Hotels properties. Position Details:

Schedule: Full-Time, Seasonal (Immediate opening through the end of the season)

Hours: Shift varies and includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands

Location: Bar Harbor Laundry Company - Bar Harbor, Maine

Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens according to company standards.
  • Load and unload commercial washers and dryers efficiently.
  • Handle, lift, and transport heavy laundry bags and linen carts throughout the shift.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, and overall quality.
  • Keep workstations and laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist with preparing and organizing linen deliveries for hotel properties.
  • Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily production goals.
  • Perform other laundry-related duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy laundry bags and linen carts throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required-we're happy to train the right person.

Success in this role will be measured by productivity, quality of finished linens, attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and helping ensure our hotel properties always have clean, guest-ready linens when they need them.
