Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator! Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Risk Management team working out of our Holmdel, NJ office.

The Risk Management Coordinator will act as the primary Risk Management point of contact for regulatory affairs matters, ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service when interacting with both internal and external clients.


Responsibilities
  • Support a high volume of complex company-wide internal political contribution requests via company intranet dashboard as well as company dedicated email inbox for integrated companies.
  • With guidance from Regulatory Affairs Specialist, evaluate political contribution requests by internal stakeholders in coordination with internal and external advisor's, applying relevant requirements and organizational guidelines.
  • Obtain supporting information and documentation including searching for candidate and or committee compliance documents via external board of elections sites as well as internal contract management and accounting systems to properly evaluate political contribution requests.
  • Coordinate and process payments associated with approved political contribution requests ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of internal tracking spreadsheets.
  • Maintain filing systems for all supporting documents relating to political contributions made by the company, including tracking contribution details, state-specific requirements and applicable contribution limits.
  • Participate in weekly committee meetings and prepare minutes for distribution to Contribution Review Committee (CRC), which consists of various business leaders and in-house and external legal counsel.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Expert level attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Superior work ethic, reliable & dedicated, and takes pride in the quality of their work.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive problem solver and responsive.
  • Utilize available resources and take initiative.
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality while communicating with internal senior management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff internal and external clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communication.

Compensation: $61,270 to $93,720 per year (depending on qualifications)
