Job description

Description

Responsible for quoting, selling and servicing products while providing excellent customer service. Position is responsible for seeking potential clients for commercial insurance. Will work directly with the customer on service needs, as well as assisting sales agents.

  • Assist Bank personnel and Financial Services Officers with business calls to solicit commercial insurance
  • Actively develop, grow and manage commercial clients within Security Federal footprint
  • Complete insurance applications for new insurance policies
  • Process and/or re-market renewal policies
  • Follow up and complete underwriting from insurance company
  • Establish customer in agency management system
  • Receipt payment, upload to appropriate insurance company/PFC and complete end-of-day report
  • Scan documents to agency management system
  • Initiate endorsements with insurance company and update in agency management system
  • Update policy expiration report and policy renewal report weekly to retain customers
  • Send postcards, new market letters of other insurance literature as needed
  • Assist branch personnel and/or other agents as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to co-workers and public
  • Keep current with applicable license laws and regulations
  • Follow all Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures in order to assist in detecting and preventing money laundering and other illegal activities being conducted through the company 
Requirements

Bi-lingual experience a plus.


Property and Casualty Insurance license required.
