The Accounting Manager leads and manages accounting workflows, including general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls, and plays a key role in coordinating cross-functional activities to support timely monthly and quarterly close. This position is accountable for understanding the interdependencies between accounting processes and other departments, and for proactively resolving issues that may impact financial close and reporting.

As Vertech continues to grow and integrate financial systems and processes with its parent company in Korea, the Accounting Manager will play a critical role in driving process standardization, improving efficiencies, and ensuring accurate financial data flow across entities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment while providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team.

  • Lead and support internal and external audits, including audit planning, coordination, and timely response to audit requests
  • Drive and support accounting-related projects, including ERP/system integration, process improvements, and data preparation for audits and reporting
  • Establish and maintain proper organization, documentation, and retention of accounting records to support audits and internal reviews
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and US GAAP requirements across accounting processes

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of ERP and accounting systems, with the ability to oversee accounting transactions, system integrity, and data accuracy
  • In-depth understanding of accounts payable (AP) processes, with the ability to review, supervise, and resolve complex or non‑routine AP issues
  • Solid knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset lifecycle management
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain accounting matters to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, particularly in a fast‑paced close environment
  • Strong critical‑thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, evaluate, and interpret relevant information to make sound accounting judgments
  • Ability to adapt to a changing business environment and lead teams through process, system, or organizational changes
  • Demonstrated process improvement mindset with a strong internal customer service orientation

Desired:

  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools, BI dashboards, or data visualization platforms used for management reporting
  • Experience preparing and reviewing executive‑level financial reports and presentation materials
  • Proven ability to drive accounting process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance financial transparency
