Performance Contracting employs the following skilled trades:

Abatement Worker: Work or removal of materials that have potential to create hazardous exposure. Hazardous materials include but are not limited to: asbestos, lead containing materials, mold.

Carpenter: Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work including interior and exterior metal framing / cladding, sheathing, weather barriers, insulated metal panels, drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors frames hardware, strut, raised floor, data center containment, cleanroom, and pharmaceutical systems. 

Drywall Finisher: Seal joints in drywall with tape, multiple layers of joint compound, and sand surfaces to create a smooth finish.

Insulator: Install, replace, and repair insulation materials for buildings, pipes, and industrial equipment.

Fireproofer: Application of fireproofing materials in new and existing commercial construction sites.

Plasterer: Mix and prepare plastering/EIFS materials. Carry and transfer of material. Coordinate the staging of the material. Measure, cut and install EIFS substrate. Install mesh, leveling coats, and finishes for EIFS. Install multi-step plaster systems at the exterior and interior structures.

Scaffold Erector: Assemble, alter, maintain, and dismantle temporary metal platforms, scaffolding, and access structures (frame, tube, and clamp) for construction or industrial projects.

Requirements

  • Must be an active member of the union in good standing (in non-right to work states) 
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • May include supervisory responsibilities
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • On-the-job training offered
  • Prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
