Position Summary
The Precast Prep - Insulation positionis responsible forpreparing precast forms and installing insulation components used in the production of insulated precast concrete panels. This role supports the production team by ensuring insulation materials, connectors, and embedded components are accurately installed prior to concrete placement.
The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow shop drawings and production instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare casting beds and forms prior to insulation installation.
- Install insulation materials used in insulated precast wall panels.
- Install connectors, ties, and embedded components required for insulated panel systems.
- Measure, cut, and place insulation materials according to shop drawings and specifications.
- Ensure insulation placement meets dimensional accuracy and engineering requirements.
- Work closely with steel fabricators and production crews to ensure proper panel assembly before casting.
- Inspect insulation and connectors prior to concrete placement.
- Maintainclean and organized work areas around production tables.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools used in insulation preparation.

- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
