Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: San Ramon, CA
 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector with 1–2 years of inspection experience to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and finished products. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, experience with quality documentation, and the ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Review quality documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Record inspection and test results accurately.
  • Operate inspection and measurement equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.).
  • Document non-conforming materials and support NCR activities.
  • Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI), GR&R studies, and special inspection requests.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Train other inspectors when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of Quality Control or Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
